What is a positioning move?
A positioning move is to relocate the car to a particular location for use, and as such, normally the car would run empty. We are offering a chance for you to enjoy a luxury passenger car ride for a fraction of the cost.
Will we have an attendant?
You will be accompanied by our private chef/car attendent. Due to differences in height between the Birch Grove and the Amtrak bi-level "Superliner" cars, access is limited to the rest of the Amtrak train.
Will the trip bring me back to Cincinnati?
Each opportunity is one-way. Passengers must arrange their own transportation for the other portion of the trip, either home from san Francisco, or to the departure site in New Orleans.
