Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Fireworks Train

All aboard for one of our most popular short trips of the year! Ride the rails from Norwood to the Boathouse on the river for the fireworks. This is the ultimate alternative to driving and parking amidst the hustle and bustle of the fireworks excitement.

Boarding will take place at McCullough Yard in Norwood . Boarding will begin at 6:00 p.m. and we will depart promptly at 6:30 p.m. with an arrival time at the Boathouse around 8:00 p.m. We will depart 20 minutes after the last bang of the fireworks.

Tickets are $25 per person. There is a minimum ticket purchase of four tickets.

NOTICE TO OUR PASSENGERS:

• Board the train at McCullough Yard in Norwood. Please begin boarding at 6:00 p.m. Departure will be at 6:30 p.m. The trip back should last as long as the trip down. We will depart 20 minutes after the last bang of the fireworks.
• Please have your ticket with you at all times. It is your boarding pass- both at McCullough and at the Boathouse after the fireworks.
• There is NO traveling from one railcar to the other unless accompanied by a rail associate with a “STAFF” badge. You are only permitted to board your designated rail car.
• There are no bathrooms on the coach cars. If you are bringing a small cooler, please be aware that you will not have access to a bathroom until we arrive at the Boathouse.
• Upon arrival at the Boathouse you are allowed to remain on the car or walk to Sawyer Point. At no time are you allowed to bring Non-Registered guests onto your’s or any other car.

Directions to McCullough Rail Yard

From I -71 Southbound

-Take EXIT 8 – Ridge/Kennedy Rd exit

-TURN Left onto Highland and go to the first light.

-From the light - Go straight one mile to the driveway on the right. If you cross over railroad tracks, you have gone too far.

-About 10 yards before the railroad tracks you will see a small sign on a telephone pole on your right that says “Cincinnati Railway Company” with an arrow pointing Right.

- Turn Right into the rail yard. The road immediately forks, go to the Left and cross over tracks and follow along on the left side of the tracks back to the yellow building where you will see a paved lot for parking. Park and board train there.

From I- 71 Northbound

-Take the Ridge Ave North exit 8C

-Merge onto Ridge Ave.

-At the second light, turn left onto Highland Ave.

-From the light - Go straight one mile to the driveway on the right. If you cross over railroad tracks, you have gone too far.
