Reserve a Luxury Railcar for your own Private Event
Looking for a new way to host a private event? Look no further; the Cincinnati Dinner Train has four different options for hosting luncheons, dinners, corporate events, or even special celebrations as you leisurely roll down the tracks.
Option 1: Reserve one or both of our restored 1947 vintage cars. The NYC Dining car (#447) can seat up to 48 people, the Silver Sword can seat up to 28 people, and the Milwaukee Road Table car (#201) can seat up to 60 people. Our Queen City Tavern car also comes free with this option.
Seating Capacity: Up to 128 guests using all three cars
Available Days: Any Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Some Saturdays are available upon advanced request.
Option 2:Reserve our privately owned dome car "The Observatory". One of only 6 operating dome cars in the United States, this exquisite and exclusive private lounge car is perfect for a private party or event. There truly is nothing like riding in a dome car. Seating Capacity: Up to 24 guests (24 in the Dome, 8 in the lounge)
Available Days: Any Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday.
Option 3: Reserve the private lounge car "Oliver Hazard Perry". This car is ideal for a small, intimate private event or party. The luxurious Oliver Hazard Perry truly enhances the private dining experience. Click here for more details and pictures.

Option 4: Yet another private dining option is onboard the historic and charming “Chapel Hill”. This 1922 heavy weight luxury railcar was the private car of E. F. Hutton and his new bride Marjorie Merriweather Post. This car has been leased to many famous and wealthy people including Michael Jackson and the Kerry/Edwards political campaign. It is the only Amtrak compliant car that was built as a true “private” car for an individual. The “Chapel Hill’ is designed in the business car floor plan and features a dining table for eight and a rear lounge with an open porch. This car is perfect for a very high end private dinner for up to eight. The table service features silver candelabras and authentic railroad china and silver.
