Greensburg’s 150th Sesquicentennial Excursion

June 13 & 14, 2009

Join us on a weekend to remember as we visit the city of Greensburg, Indiana for their 150th sesquicentennial celebration. Enjoy the local festivities of the town of Greensburg along with our leisurely train ride that passes through some of the most scenic countryside of southwestern Ohio and southeastern Indiana. Upon arrival in Greensburg, passengers will have the option to enjoy the sesquicentennial celebration or take a separate Side Trip to Batesville for an extended 1 hour 30 minute picturesque journey.

Itinerary:

9:00a.m - Depart from Longworth Hall in Cincinnati

12:15p.m. - Arrive in Greensburg

Once in Greensburg passengers have two options:

• Layover for 2 hours 45 minutes to tour the town of Greensburg and enjoy festivities.
• Take the Side Trip to Batesville and back, for an additional 1hour 30 minute scenic ride. *Greensburg passengers will have to purchase separate tickers for this Side Trip.

12:45p.m. - Train departs to Batesville for the Side Trip. Ride lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

3:00p.m. – All passengers wil re-board and return back to Cincinnati.

6:15p.m. - Arrive back at Longworth Hall in Cincinnati

Side Trip to Batesville

These trips will take people to Batesville and back. This excursion will have a separate cost from the Greensburg trip. This way, visitors at the Greensburg event have the option to take a short train ride and then return back to Greensburg. If Greensburg passengers want to have this option, then they need to purchase a separate ticket for this event.

Tickets:

Round trip from Cincinnati, Ohio to Greensburg, Ind:

Coach Class: $50 (Adults) $40 (Children & Seniors) – Ticket includes access to the concession car where food and drinks will be available for purchase.

*Coach Class ONLY- if children 2 & under occupy a seat they require a regular price child ticket. If they sit on a lap and do not occupy their own seat they are free.

1 ½ Hr Side Trip to Batesville:$18 (Adults) $15 (Children & Seniors)

Group Discounts- to receive the discount you must pay up-front in full.

Passengers will have a choice from three different departure times taking them from Greensburg to Batesville for a 1 hour 30 minute scenic ride round trip.

11:00a.m- Depart from Greensburg and go to Batesville and back.

1:00p.m. - Depart from Greensburg and go to Batesville and back.

3:00p.m. - Depart from Greensburg and go to Batesville and back.

Tickets:

1 ½ Hr Round trip excursions from Greensburg to Batesville and return

$18 (Adult), $15 (Children)

Group Discounts- to receive the discount you must pay up-front in full.
