Lebanon, Mason and Monroe Railroad News
The Pumpkin Patch and the North Pole Express themed rides were both a great success. Passengers that rode on the Pumpkin Express rode to Schappacher Farm in Mason where they visited a real working farm and selected a pumpkin to take home with them. Our riders on the North Pole Express quickly got into the holiday spirit as the visited with Santa and enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies! Thank you to everyone that rode with the LM&M Railroad this year! Visit LM&M Railroad online at www.lebanonrr.com. Update Many of you have heard about the problems with the bridges on the Lebanon line just south of downtown Lebanon. As of the writing of this newsletter we are confident Lebanon City Council will appropriate the needed repair funds. If they do not, we will move operations to the city of Mason on the south end of the line to operate in 2009 just as we have for the past twenty years. |
